The Steadberry management team, Dave Brown, Geoff Taylor and Mark Winter, have 100 years combined experience in quality construction delivery and major project management. They share a passion for what they do and believe it is a privilege to get to work on such amazing buildings.
Dave Brown
Dave trained as a surveyor in the commercial arena, looking after properties across the country. During the 1980s-90s he focused mainly on the commercial and education sectors in London. In recent years, he has been responsible for the delivery of a variety of schemes in the heritage sector - including the sensitive restoration of Sir John Soane’s Museum, together with other significant heritage and high-end residential projects.
Geoff Taylor
Geoff started his working life as a carpenter and joinery apprentice. He then trained as a building surveyor, before embarking on 20-year spell in specialist manufacturing, mainly servicing the commercial and industrial sectors. Since joining Steadberry Restoration, his focus has been on our heritage, commercial and education areas, where he brings a much-valued practical approach to securing and delivering quality projects and building those all-important long-term client relationships.
Mark Winter
Mark has a solid, well-established trade background, having worked with William Verry Ltd for almost 20 years before joining Steadberry Restoration. His substantial contract management expertise is hugely valuable, enabling him to win the support and recognition of both clients and professionals across the residential, heritage and commercial sectors. He’s marked out by his evident dedication to quality and timely delivery.
Dan Taylor, Project Manager
Dan brings a calm, considered approach to managing complex and sensitive projects. He has extensive experience working on heritage and live environments, where clear communication, attention to detail, and trust are essential. Clients value his accessibility and his ability to listen, whether discussing technical challenges or day-to-day site matters.
Dan takes real ownership of his projects, approaching each one with care and professionalism, and is known for going beyond what is expected to achieve the right outcome. His work on the Grade II listed Laboratory building at RHS Wisley is a good example of the confidence clients place in him and the standards he sets from start to finish.
Ryan Palmer, Project Manager
Ryan works across both site and project management, overseeing projects from mobilisation through to completion. He brings an engineering background to his role, with a strong focus on planning, technical understanding, and maintaining standards on site. Clients and project teams value his direct, practical approach and his ability to manage day-to-day activity while keeping a close eye on programme, coordination, and quality.
Ryan works closely with clients, consultants, and site teams to address issues early and keep projects moving in a controlled and straightforward way. His approach reflects Steadberry’s wider ethos: clear communication, steady management, and doing the fundamentals well.
