Axis Mason – 160 Borough High Street
London-based architect Axis Mason’s plans for its fourth-floor 160 Borough High Street office refurbishment called upon our high quality finishing skills. With the brief to refurbish their reception, office, kitchen and meeting room areas, and generally update the premises, the project proved to be a showcase for our attention to detail, project management, timely delivery and adherence to budget.
Axis Mason were keen that the refurbishment should reflect the look and feel of their Jersey offices, so we visited the island so we could identify exactly what was required.
Located on the fourth floor and with no parking in the high street, the project presented several logistical challenges for us. All deliveries had to be made outside of office hours and all materials and tools had to be transported upstairs using stairs and lifts.
The design called for the installation of some very large Italian worktops, and we had to ensure that these could be delivered safely and without any damage.
Axis Mason were great clients to work for, so engaged and keen to work in a collaborative way on a project which was really interesting. They were delighted with the end result, particularly as the work was completely quickly, on-time and within budget.
